Playing Catch Up + Stylish Tuesday

Happy Tuesday Dolls!
Holy cow! Thank you to all 111 fabulous ladies for linking up with me last week! It was such a fun week looking through all of your posts and living vicariously through you and escaping my own world for a bit :)

Update on my life: Since last Tuesday it's been pretty mellow besides the office life. One of my bosses has been on vacation so my work load has gone from crazy to chaotic frenzy. I tweeted that I needed an intern and this was my friend Melissa's response:
Little things like this make my day and make me ever so grateful I have the most amazing friends to get me through rough days!

Friday was Dr. D's going away party. We had an intimate dinner at City Tavern in Culver City then went to Backstage for some karaoke fun! It was a really fun night and I wish it would have never ended. We're officially down to single digits in the Ohio countdown and it's just starting to hit me he's about to leave for good. Everything will work out as it should and I'm trying not to be too big of a downer during our last week together.
ALSO, thank y'all for the supportive comments and emails last week - truly meant the world!

Saturday we went to Universal Studios Hollywood which was an absolute blast and Sunday we just relaxed and watched Next Food Network Star ... which *SPOILER ALERT* I'm so freaking happy Lenny McNabb won! Was anyone else a fan?

That's it for this week's short and sweet post. Next week i'll be back to fashion posts but for now I'm off to cuddle on the couch with Dr. D while I still can!

This week's featured blogger is my babe Lauren from Sophisticated in Style!
OBSESSED with everything about this darling and chic look! Paisley is one of my favorite prints and kind of hard to pull of since it's such a busy print, but Lauren has freakin' nailed it y'all! The subtle cream peplum top perfectly captures the backdrop of her printed pant, paired with a bright white handbag and pop of color pink pumps this look is to die for. Way to rock it doll! Make sure to check out Lauren's blog for more amazing fashion looks!

  2. I definitely watched Food Network Star too :) I was torn between Luca & Lenny, but I think I'd like Lenny's food better. Also, dying over the tribute comment.
