5 Fall Trends

Fall is full of fashion transitions and I personally can't wait to start being able to actually wear them ... that's a hint to you Mother Nature!

I think it's pretty fair to say that almost everyone's favorite trend this season is leather. It makes you look edgy and cool without trying too hard.

pants // top // sleeve top // skirt

Leopard is one of those insanely brillant prints because it basically becomes a neutral. Pair it with black, tan, brown and any other color you can imagine. It will ALWAYS match.

heel // belt // scarf // clutch

It took me a while to jump onto the loafer bandwagon, and I'm pretty upset about it. I have 2 pairs now and they're way more comfortable/easier to break in than any other pair of flats I've ever owned. Also the animal print ones melt my heart because they're too stinkin' cute.

doxen // cat // cap toe // spike

I don't own any aztec print yet, but this pastel cardigan from tobi.com is going to be purchased STAT.

black & white // cardigan // skirt // navy

I'm a notorious nail biter, (gross and embarrassing), so whenever I get my nails done I try to go for a polish for the season. Right now I'm obsessed with OPI's Charmed I'm Sure. The plum color is perfect for Fall!

Longchamp & Chevron

Happy Monday Y'all! 

Can I just tell y'all how much I am loving my red Longchamp bag? I fell in love with my small black one I got in college and bought this one soon after. When my mom and I traveled through Europe 2 Summer's ago, I bought my 3rd and it makes the perfect carry on bag since it's so large. If you haven't heard of this brand before YOU MUST check them out. Not only do they make great bags in an assortment of colors, with two strap lengths, that you can monogram ... they also fold up nicely into smaller bags or clutches. Yes you just read that correctly, these are MULTI-PURPOSE bags; plus they're great to take out on rainy days because the fabric is waterproof. Did I mention I love Longchamp Paris?

I wanted to keep it cool and casual this weekend since it was blazing hot, (95 degrees) in Riverside! I really wish Fall weather would come already, but alas I am heading to NYC on Thursday and can't wait to bundle up in layers upon layers. I have some new sweaters I simply cannot wait to wear!

Blazin' Into Fall

Working in Public Relations/Events means wearing a TON of black. Since award season is upon us I've been trying to wear as much color as possible before I'm forced into the "all black" world again. This peach dress is perfect for the office and has front pockets which come in handy more often than I ever thought they would!

Even though Fall is "officially" here it's still ridiculously warm in LA so wearing a blazer seems almost ludicrous; however, whenever I step into a building the AC is so strong it's as if I've been blown into Antarctica. Blazers are perfect for layering and make work attire look that much more chic.
