Weekend Recap + Stylish Tuesday!

Thanks so much for coming back to link up with me after my VERY long blogging absence. In case you were wondering where I've been, catch up on my post from Friday here which shares all the details! 

I hosted a Friendsgiving party yesterday and totally meant to take outfit shots, but one thing let to another and naturally the hosting duties prevailed the ensemble shots. Not exactly how I wanted to get back into the swing of things, but I didn't want to delay another week just because the photos weren't exactly what I wanted. 

Saturday was the CA Dogtown kickball end of season party. It was a stoplight theme where you dressed to your relationship status: Red = taken, Yellow = It's Complicated and Green = Ready to Mingle. I had an amazing time with a bunch of my friends, but how can you not when there's an open bar?

Sunday we celebrated Friendsgiving for the first time at my new place. We had a pot luck style event and it was the perfect way to cure our kickball hangover's from the previous night!

Kelly's turkey was delicious! She got to my house at 7:30 AM to prep that baby and it did not disappoint!

My contribution for the event was Apple Cider with Fireball and cinnamon sticks (back two pots in the next photo) and my fruit turkey above! I completely forgot to get strawberries so it ended up being a lot of grapes! I do one of these every year and it's always a hit, plus SUPER easy! 

This was the end of the "buffet line" with the gravy and bread options. 

More of the spread! A lot of people had food allergies so we made little signs to make people aware of what contained, nuts, dairy or gluten. I highly recommend doing that for any big event you host because everyone was more than appreciative to know what all they could and could not dive into!
