First and foremost thank you so much for following me to my new blog platform on Blogspot!

Do you ever just have those days where you know EXACTLY what you want to wear? Ya they're pretty few and far between for me too, but every now and then it happens. 

The other day I was in the shower (mid-shampoo rinse) and all of a sudden I got that "a - ha, lightbulb" moment. Why I've never thought to do such a simple outfit post before blows my mind.

1. If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?

I've always wanted to go to Australia and scuba dive in the Great Barrier Reef! 

2. What's your favorite season and why?
We don't have the typical 4 seasons out in LA, so I'd have to say Spring because t's not overwhelmingly hot 

3. Flats or Heels?

Wedges. They're the perfect compromise! 

4. Favorite Food?
Tacos without a doubt

5. Coffee or Tea?
To be honest, I can't stand either. I'm a Monster Energy Absolute Zero kind of girl!

6. What's in your handbag?
Wallet, stomach pills (thank you Gallbladder removal), hand sanitizer, cell phone, comb, spare pair of contacts, gum, chapstick, lipgloss and lipstick. You never know which occasion you may be headed off to

7. Most embarassing moment? 

I'm a classic blonde so I have a bunch of these. I'd have to go with mistaking a celebrity for a photographer on the red carpet. Whoops!

8. Do you have any pets?
My roommate's cat has officially become my adopted nephew

9. Fly or Road Trip?
Fly ... let's not waste any time on getting the party started!

10. Favorite color?
Anything pastel - baby blue, pale yellow, mint green, etc.

11. One thing we probably don't know about you?
I had 2 organs removed within 10 weeks of each other

Hello dolls! I hope you like the new look :) 

As I rang in 2014 I naturally sipped my champagne, kissed Dr. D and immediately began to think of resolutions. I'm not one to make them (because who actually sticks to them?) but this year I'm making an exception. 

My one and only resolution is to blog more often and give it my all. 

Naturally, there were things I wanted to do to update my layout:

-Add an Instagram slideshow
-Put the Pinterest hover button over my photos

-Make a more attractive Stylish Tuesday button and actually have the box be centered (y'all that would drive me nuts!)

and the list went on and on. 

Needless to say over the last week I have been leaving the office every night and going straight home to work on my brand new blog layout. I think it's turned out rather well but I'm sure small tweaks will be made here and there! 

If you would please follow my new Bloglovin' here, or go to my right side by and follow me via GFC it would literally mean the world! I lost all of my followers in the transition, but I think the move will be well worth it in the long run!

Month in Instagram: December

December has always been my favorite month by far! Not only do I celebrate my birthday, but also my darling mother's and older sister's. Then of course we celebrate the big man's birthday and on December 1st all bets are off and Christmas is officially allowed to be celebrated in every rhyme or reason way!

I'm never one to celebrate prematurely for any other big holiday, but come November 1 I'm well into my Christmas spirit ways! Here's how I spent the most jolly month of the year:

1. Saw Justin Timberlake for my sister's birthday in Vegas
2. Enjoyed a little Chalone Rose after a long day at work

3. I won a sweater from Everly through an Instagram contest ... SCORE
4. December wouldn't be complete with fuzzy Christmas socks

5. Wrapping paper with lines = dream come true
6. Beautiful sunset in Santa Monica

7. Some friends from Charleston came to visit
8. Dr. D and I at the Santa Monica Pub Crawl

9. Being silly en route to the next pub
10. 25th Birthday present from Dr. D. Man is too good to me

11. Finally went bowling at Lucky Strike
12. Scored tickets to the BCS National Championship pre-party

13. Enjoyed some vino at LAX en route to South Carolina
14. Fell in love with this pink chair

15. Cruised around the Charleston City Market downtown
16. Indulged in Moe's ... East Coast people get it

17. Stared at my Christmas tree from this spot every night while I was home
18. Christmas morning mimosa's

19. Family time :)
20. Was given the best tervis tumbler ever. Hello Chevron and state pride!

21. Went Day after Christmas shopping in our new monogram sweatshirts
22. Scored these beauties for $5 each!

23. Spent some quality time with the Hunt man
24. Dr. D surprised me with chocolate covered strawberries for my birthday

25. Another beautiful Charleston sunset
26. Celebrated my 25th birthday at Grill 225

27. Mom gave me this great gift of photos taken all over my college campus
28. New infinity bracelet addition to the stack

29. Hit up the driving range with Gramps

New Year & A New Me

Here's to 2014! New year and a New Me! 

My vacation is officially over; therefore, my blog vacation is over as well. Over the Christmas holiday I decided I wanted to focus more on my blog than I have in the past and truly give it my all. So here's to a year of great blog posts, opportunities and hopefully new blog friends!

I spent the majority of my holiday back East with my family which is where these photos were taken. Not only is Charleston a wonderful, historic town, but it's also full of FANTASTIC areas to take photographs.
