Bright and Cheery!

It's finally back to being nice and WARM in Los Angeles and I couldn't be more ecstatic about it. My adorable roommate (check out her foodie blog here) convinced me to buy this dress last Winter and man am I glad that she did! This is my first time wearing it and I'm OBSESSED with the high-low trend. Although about 80% of my tops are this style I've been afraid to try it on dresses due to my height (I'm practically midget status) but those fears are now gone!

St. Valentine's

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! As commercialized as this holiday is I can't help but love it! Everyone seems to be in a better mood, flowers are EVERYWHERE and the aroma they give off is nothing short of heavenly! Since hues of red are the go-to color for the holiday I grabbed my favorite coral top (love it so much due to the back) and a few simple accessories!

Pop of Color

I woke up this morning and did my typical routine: Hit snooze 2 times, checked the weather on my phone and started to plan my attire for the day in my head. I went to my pants drawer and forgotten all about this hidden yellow gems I scored during the post-Christmas sales! I've yet to wear them and figured today was the PERFECT day to bust them out.

Winter Blues

I'm gearing up to head to Disneyland this weekend for the first time EVER and am beyond excited about it! One little problem ... the weather this weekend is going to be dreadful! It's usually always gorgeous and sunny in LA and while I can't complain that my "cold weather" consists of a high of 58 degrees in February I'm still a little bummed. Since my camera battery is still MIA I created some perfect looks to keep you warm, but still stylish on this chilly weekend!



On the left is a more casual look with tall riding boots, knee socks,  scarf and an adorable headband. This outfit screams, "I'm cold but man am I stylish!" The outfit on the right is more adventurous and trendy. The liquid leggings give off a great shine white the pointy toe ankle boots keep your feet warm! A slouchy sweater is simply a go-to piece this season, but it will also make your legs look skinnier when they're in fitted pants. Talk about a win win!

Fulfilling a Resolution

Never in a million years did I think I would ever want to participate in the blogging world, but hey weirder things have happened! I apologize for the low quality of the images, I left my camera charger back home in Charleston so for the meantime my iPhone will have to do!

Today I felt like bringing some color into this gloomy Los Angeles Day and since mint is a distant cousin of  emerald (2013 color of the year) I couldn't help but choose this top! I'm really starting to get into accessorizing, and paired some bold pieces together for this look; but my favorite is the silver bracelet my grandfather gave me for Christmas. It has my grandmother's birth stone on the ends and her ashes in the middle. Some may find this odd, but it makes me feel closer to her than ever.
