An Apology + Stylish Tuesday

Happy Tuesday Dolls!

I've said this the last three weeks and I seriously can't believe i'm even saying it again, but I am SO SORRY for being MIA and only posting once a week. The Oscars got the best of me, but now I am finally feeling rejuvenated and like myself again ... thank God!
With that being said, a lot has gone on in the past couple of weeks. I don't usually dive into my relationship on here because I truly doubt any of you care; however, lately things have been a little rough. As I've said before, Dr. D and I have always had a long distance relationship and it has never been easy (but are LDR's ever easy)? He's wrapping up his PhD and will be done this August but so many big changes are already occurring which make me want to stop time and rewind.

Besides my relationship, I've been looking for a new apartment in LA closer to my job. For those who don't live here I'm sure you've heard how bad our traffic is, but let me put it into perspective. Our highways (also known as freeways to West Coaster's) are 4-8 lanes wide and ALWAYS packed. It's like a Southern college football tailgate party out there y'all! Luckily, I don't have to take them to work anymore; however, it does take me an hour to drive 9 miles. 9 MILES!

Ya you'd be frustrated too right? Hence the moving situation, but that's no slice of pie in LA either. There are some WEIRDO's out there y'all and finding something in your price range with a washer/dryer in the unit, parking, in a good area, etc. is like finding gold. For anyone else going through this situation, may the force be with us!

Now that my ranting is over (thanks for letting me get that out) let's get to the fashion :)

I don't believe that you can't wear black with brown. Fashion rule says who?
My friend Dana took these awesome shots at the park in LACMA and I love how they turned out!

This week's featured blogger is Ashley from Raspberry Glow!
Can we just discuss how amazing this look is? First of all those pants are to die for but the way she paired them with a plain white top is super chic! The added pop of pink adds a feminine touch, but the studded heels keep it edgy and fun! Love the outfit doll!

  12. Adore your necklace! Fab look! Hope you find the perfect place in LA-I was there with a film a few years back and loved it and my friends complained of the same, all fab cities tend to be oversubscribed when it comes to nice places to live. Good luck! (Mummysgotstyle.com)
